Sound the alarms! Saturday is near which means it’s time to utilize the YouTube TV quad screen and make some money. There is something about an 8-leg parlay that gets your blood pumping, so let’s help you navigate towards generational wealth. One of the keys to finding the right locks is to take your time: be willing to navigate the props in order to make an informed decision. Will Rutgers cover? You bet their ass they will. Will you go undefeated with the stacked lineup presented below? Not a question. Odds courtesy of Fliff, not affiliated
Zac - Ollie Gordon over 85.5 rushing yards (-120)
Fresh off giving up 115 yards on 19 carries to Utah State running back, Rahsul Faison, the Utes show some vulnerability in the run game. Desperate to finally get the rushing attack going, look for a big game on the ground from Gordon and this Cowboys offense. Although it’s only week 4, this contest has big implications for a conference that might only get 1-2 teams in the playoff. Ollie Gordon from week 4 and on last year? 136.8 rush yards per game. Full steam ahead, the kid is a tank.
Anonymous Aggie - Arch Manning over 2.5 passing TDs (-200) and Nico Iamaleava over 1.5 passing TDs (-190)
Never fear, the world's sharpest better is here. And for the first installment of ‘weekend locks’ I decided to throw in 2 props I’m feeling good about rather than going with 1 game. Arch Manning will finally get his first start after Ewers went down with injury last week, taking on General Booty and the Warhawks. Let’s keep this short, Arch is going to absolutely light it up Saturday. I would’ve felt safe taking any of his overs but decided to go with TD passes.
It’s Nicoooo timeee. The Vols are looking to start SEC play by continuing down their path of offensive dominance. OU’s defense has been looking promising lately, but until Tennessee doesn’t score 50 I’m taking this prop every week. Total odds (+128). You’re Welcome!
Peyton - Michigan +5.5 (-130) vs. USC
“Yes, yes, yes!”, the crowd roared, and the hero made his return. The shining star has finally spoken after a lengthy hiatus that saw him officially lose 27 pounds and fully embrace the daily mullet lifestyle. While this pick may come as a surprise to many, since my Tigers decided to do what they do best, and send me into a level of pissed off hitherto undreamt of Week 1 of the season when they played the Trojans. Michigan still offers a stellar defense and semi-explosive run game. USC has shown that they are vulnerable to the run, like when John Emery went off for his annual 6 snaps in that Week 1 bout, and one dimensional when their WRs aren’t drawing egregious PI penalties every third play. With Michigan rolling out a new QB1, expect the run game to be heavy, and the Big House to be hyped when Beavis and Butt-Heads ignored lovechild trots out onto the field. Michigan +5.5, Book It!
Guest Picker - Braxton Hicks (not affiliated with the contractions): Oklahoma State vs Utah over 53.5 (-130) and Vanderbilt +20 (-120) vs Missouri
Helping us out as our celebrity guest picker for Week 4 is the ancient, but not to be trifled with, Braxton. Known for walking around school with rocks in his backpack, this David Goggins wannabe takes a go at this week's slate. This spicy two-leg offers you +224 value to help pay for the evening refreshments. Oklahoma State has yet to find that massive running game and looks to do so against a stingy Utes squad. With the return of Cam Rising, both offenses look to get back on track and establish themselves as a frontrunner for a spot in the Big 12 conference championship game.
Missouri being over-ranked is beginning to gain traction amongst the masses and Vanderbilt is desperate to hit the over on their projected 2.5 season win total. Clark Lea has Diego Pavia at his disposal, and although the Commodores were just taken down by Georgia State, many folks in the greater Nashville area are more hopeful than years past. If Vanderbilt can continue to limit turnovers, they have a shot to keep this game in striking range. Maybe Virginia Tech was the first of many heroic upsets for this squad in 2024.
